Heitkamp & Thumann Group announces organizational changes

As of March 1, 2023 the Management Board of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group will be reorganized as follows:

Dr. Stefan Hauk, CEO, will leave the Group. He joined the Group in 2002 and was mainly responsible for the Westfalia Metal Hoses Group which was part of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group until September 2019.

The Managing Directors of the Holding Dietmar Schmitz and Christian Krätzig will jointly lead the H&T Group in the future.

Dietmar Schmitz will become CEO and will take over the main responsibility for the holding activities. Within the Management Board of the Holding, Dietmar will be responsible for H&T Battery Components Rechargeable as well as H&T Tool Design and H&T ProduktionsTechnologie. He will also continue as CFO, responsible for Finance and Compliance of the Group.

Christian Krätzig will become COO and will be responsible for the group wide continuous improvement and future development of the H&T Group, especially in the areas of sustainability, innovation, digitalization as well as information technology. Within the Management Board of the Holding, Christian will remain responsible for H&T Presspart as well as H&T Excellence and will also be responsible for H&T Battery Components Alkaline. He will remain President of H&T Presspart.

In addition to the Managing Board of the Holding the Group Executive Committee (GEC) will continue to have Tobias Ott, President H&T Battery Components Rechargeable, and Gerd Schröder, President H&T Battery Components Alkaline, as members.

With this organizational change of the Management Board, we remain reliant on continuity and long-term experience within our Group of Companies.

The Management of the three Divisions H&T Battery Components Rechargeable, H&T Battery Components Alkaline and H&T Presspart remains unchanged with the respectful Presidents of the Divisions.
