Düsseldorf, 1st June, 2026 – The Heitkamp & Thumann Group announces organizational changes to its Executive Committee, effective August 1, 2026.

Dietmar Schmitz will leave the H&T Group as planned after 26 years of dedicated service. Since joining in 2001, Dietmar Schmitz has held numerous roles within the Group, serving as Member of the Group Executive Committee since 2016, and as Group CEO since 2023. The H&T Group thanks Dietmar Schmitz for his significant contributions over more than two decades and wishes him all the best for his future endeavors.

Christian Krätzig will assume the role of CEO. He joined H&T in 2000 and has held various leadership positions, primarily within H&T Battery Components and H&T Presspart. Christian Krätzig will continue to oversee the division H&T Presspart.

Jan Schulze will continue as CFO. He will additionally assume responsibility for Compliance, Internal Audit, Insurance, Risk Management and Legal.

Tobias Ott will become a Member of the Holding Managing Board and continues to lead the division H&T Recharge. He will also take over responsibility for the business units H&T Tool Design and H&T ProduktionsTechnologie.

Nils von Stromberg, who recently joined H&T on April 1, 2026, as President of H&T Battery Components, will remain responsible for this division.
